Based on the submissions by the applicants, the respective Steering Committees will appoint the new Advisory for a start in Q2 2026. The expected timeline is as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">&#8211; 9 December 2025: RFP published on Poseidon Principles and Sea Cargo Charter SCC websites<br \/>\n&#8211; 9 January 2026: Acknowledgement deadline (deadline to express interest in submitting a proposal)<br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>13 February: Proposal submission deadline<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; End of February or early March: Steering Committee select new technical advisory based on applications<br \/>\n&#8211; March 2026: Yearly service agreements drafted<br \/>\n&#8211; March to April 2026: Start of advisory services, including a handover with UMAS (previous Technical Advisory)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.poseidonprinciples.org\/finance\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/PPA-SCCA-Advisory-RFP-Final-signed.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Detailed information, terms and conditions are set out in the RFP and are available here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>While the associations prefer that one party provide advisory services for both the PPA <\/em><em>and SCCA to maintain the benefits of the pre-existing collaboration and knowledge sharing; candidates can choose to send an application for both Associations, or only for one (PPA or SCCA). When applying for <\/em><em>both services, only one proposal should be submitted, but the selected advisor will have separate service <\/em><em>agreements with each association as the required services differ slightly.
